I loved this article! I thought it showed a great way to introduce the topic to your students and then let them predict why this occurs. In addition, it includes an experiment to do with your students, reflect on the experiment and build on their prior knowledge!

I had wondered about the answer to the question before, but never took the time to research the nuts and bolts on my own. Robertson does a great job of making the concept of frequency, as it relates to radio and cell phone signal, understandable. I liked the hands on experiment as well. I now will be able to demonstrate and explain the reasoning of this concept to my family as we drive long distances. I'm sure they can't wait!
