This interesting article gives a quick description of how to use videos to review Newton's Laws of Motion. Students work in groups of three to analyze video segments and look for laws of motion. The one drawback I see to this is that it is time intensive for a teacher to find these videos and transfer them to individual computers for students to use.

This activity allows students the opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned in an interesting and interactive way. Students are always interested in hearing from each other. While the author has presented a grading rubric, students could actually work together to set this up as well (since the one presented looks like several my students have developed for similar assignments). While I have not used YouTube videos, I have had students bring in movie clips or photos for extra credit and they really enjoy it and learn from it.
