Student’s blog assignment has three parts: research, report and evaluate. The article provides the assignment, sample student blogs and review of blogs, and a rubric for evaluating the blog. I have been looking to incorporate technology in a meaningful way. This article explains how to get students started blogging about their research on poisons. It gives the students very specific points that they need to cover, but also stresses that the students also comment on others work and evaluate it as well. It is a good first step to get the students started on a skill that my students have not utilized previously in most classes.
