I really enjoyed reading this article. I liked how they gave two trade books and two full lessons on how to teach habitats to students. The lessons were easy to follow and seem very engaging for students. I also liked how the first lesson was more specific to the younger grades while the second lesson was more for the older grades. I think there is a lot of good ideas that would be beneficial to add into the classroom. I am about to be teaching a few science lessons about habitats in a kindergarten classroom. I am eager to see if I can incorporate some of these ideas into my lessons.

I really liked this article that explained teaching students about habitats through two trade books which were recommended. The article also included two lesson plans with clear and through directions for any educators to follow. Then, I liked how each lesson plan had a box at the bottom that listed how this lesson connected to the National Science Education Standards. For these reasons, I think I will definitely use these lessons when teaching about animal habitat!
