Dr. Robertson does a really good job of explaining how electric circuits work and provides several examples, analogies and models to demonstrate the concepts of electrons and how they move. I shared this article with my middle school students and they really liked the explanation of what’s going on in a battery. The diagram of the battery was helpful when I asked them to describe the system of the battery. For some reason they were really surprised at what they found was really in a battery, most thought “electricity was stored there.”
