The Science-Mathematics Connection: Using technology in an interdisciplinary module

by: Bonita E. Flournoy, Janice E. Cook-Bax, and Lillian Harris

Instruction in the culturally responsive, integrated curriculum must reflect the rapidly changing characteristics of society. As national standards for teaching science and mathematics continue to accentuate the need to connect, represent, and solve problems that occur in the real world, coordinators of this program recognized the need for appropriate methods and materials that address the needs of all students.
