1. Why did you choose to put this article in your collection? Be specific...." because it looked interesting" is not sufficient. I chose to put this article in my collection because if talks about being an educator in the science classroom. It talks about the opportunities given for science teachers and also gives several different activities involving space in the classroom! 2. What new information did you learn? That I need to look into the Space Academy for Educators because the outcome is extraordinary. 3. What TEKS would it go with and how could you use this information in your classroom? 5.8C (8) Earth and space. The student knows that there are recognizable patterns in the natural world and among the Sun, Earth, and Moon system. The student is expected to: (C) demonstrate that Earth rotates on its axis once approximately every 24 hours causing the day/night cycle and the apparent movement of the Sun across the sky 4. Based on your experience, is there anything in the article that you agree with? Disagree with? Have questions about it? Given that I have to probably buy the entire article issued... But I would like to know more about the Space Academy for Educators, and some things I will do or learned if I attend.
