To understand why insects won’t have superhuman powers one has to understand concepts in math and science. To first understand if this is possible you need to delve into engineering design (structure vs forces). Then you have to look at the biology of the body. When size increases then services provided within the body must also increase. The question to ask is if the organs in the systems also grow equally (like the incredible Hulk) or not. Lots to consider with this problem but what a great discussion this could lead to for students.
