The author out-did herself in providing web sites and descriptions of various digital tools that teachers can use when integrating technology into their classrooms. She begins by talking about the revised Bloom’s Taxonomy and how teachers can connect it to digital approaches and tools. For every level of the revised Bloom’s, she gives an example of how digital opportunities and Google tools can be used to support your lessons goals. Included in this extremely well designed and informative article are two charts; both the older version of Bloom’s Taxonomy and the newer version. The author suggests, “Instead of putting the tool first, decide the learning goal or the 21st-century skill you want students to become proficient in—then choose a tool that will support your students’ growth toward reaching that goal or skill.” She then provides, for each level of thinking skill, more than one example of a digital tool, it’s complete web address, and a description of what it is about. I think this is a very, very good article that will assist all teachers, in all subjects in some of the What, When, and How questions that are being asked in classrooms by teachers wanting to integrate more technology into their classrooms.

The author examines Andrew Churches revised taxonomy that coordinates technology into the order of thinking skills. I am interested in how best practices will evolve with the integration of technology. The author presents classroom examples of using technology on each level and provides web resources that are applicable to each level. I reviewed a few of the web sites listed and look forward to using them in my classroom.
