Sharing Your Findings

by: John Haysom

This chapter is about sharing and communicating scientific findings. It is designed to help students who have done a project to display it, write it up, and talk about it. It attempts to put this exercise in the context of how the community of scientists shares discoveries through writing (in journals) and talking about them (at conferences). The first part of the lesson is designed to help students identify some of the important things they might take into consideration and the second part gives them practice in trying out their ideas.
