Making Sense of Your Results: Interpreting Graphs

by: John Haysom

Graphs can tell a story and are like a silent interpreter. They give meaning to numbers and turn numbers into pictures, but words still need to be input. This chapter presents the case of the bean seed planted in a glass jar so that growth is visible with the data plotted on a graph. The graph enables you to “see” what is actually happening in the bean project as the curve showing the increase in height of the bean stem takes an interesting shape.
