I really enjoyed this interactive e-book. It had a lot of interesting information. It was easy to follow. I liked how the pages are shorter, so when you are reading it, it doesn't feel overwhelming. Learning about the different influences on how telescopes were developed was interesting. I also enjoyed learning about the different astronomers and how they used science to discover so much about the universe was fascinating. The first and second chapters about the planets and their characteristics would be perfect for the TN State Standards for 3rd grade.
Unfortunately, some of the picture said interactive but when clicked on nothing happened. This was on several pages especially in the 2nd chapter. I was happy that the videos worked because they provided a lot of information, and it was nice going from one form of media to a different. This definitely helped keep my attention. If you want to learn or teach about the solar system such as its history, the planets, asteroids, comets, meteoroids, etc., this would be a great resource!
