This book was fantastic! I learned so much about Coral Reefs and how the world around them can help or hurt them. I enjoyed the read-aloud feature as I learn better listening to material than reading it. Though I listened to the book I was blown away by the beautiful pictures and visuals! At many parts of the book I felt as if I was scuba diving in the deep sea myself. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is a deep sea lover and interested in exploring the world around them!

I really enjoyed this ebook as it was consistently engaging throughout each section. I liked the different interactive sections where they gave you an opportunity to practice skills as well as review newly learned information. The additional media also made this e-book that much more intriguing with the colorful and bold images and videos that were added throughout. The end of section quizzes were also very helpful as they helped me to feel more prepared for the final assessment. I can see myself using this specific e-book in my future classroom while going over any type of biology or ecology topics.

I was constantly engaged throughout this entire e-book! Each section was clearly labeled, which made it incredibly easy to review specific information from the material. There were so many beautiful, vivid pictures that provided a deeper understanding of the ecosystems of coral reefs. The quizzes located at the end of each section were very helpful and allowed me to reflect on the new information that I had learned in order to prepare for the final assessment. I feel that this e-book would ensure students were able to establish meaningful connections to the material, resulting in a deeper understanding about coral reefs than they would initially have developed from a traditional textbook. I will absolutely be incorporating this e-book into future instruction!

I really enjoyed this e-book! It reinforced previously learned biology topics while also teaching new material. I liked the interactive sections where you could practice skills, see visuals of the coral reefs or check for understanding. They helped me see where I needed to study more and where I could move on. After completing all the sections, I felt like I had a better understanding of Coral Reef ecosystems. I can see myself using this in my future classroom as an add-on to a biology or ecology unit.

I loved reading this e-book! I really enjoyed all of the interactive elements. I thought they were very engaging, especially the ones that gave real-life scenarios, like the one with the trophic levels. Corals are so beautiful and have always been interesting to me, so it was very neat to get to read about them, see them, and interact with them in a new way. I thought the quizzes and checks for understanding throughout the book were a great touch! They helped me to truly understand what I was reading and make sure that I was on track as I read through the book. Finally, I loved how each word that I did not know had a definition that would pop up if you clicked on it. Really helped me to fully get the concepts. Great book!

It was very easy to complete. I also felt that the quizzes did a very good job at helping me monitor my understanding. I really enjoyed this E-book. It was filled with great information about coral reefs that I didn't know about before reading. It was very easy to work through, and the quizzes throughout were useful to check yourself based on your understanding of what you just read. I really like how engaging and hands on this E-book was. There were several places throughout the book to stop and use different tools to interact with different activities. Overall, I learned a lot from this E-book and the colorful pages in the book kept me engaged. I would recommend this book to anyone!

I really enjoyed this e-book. It was super engaging and provided many good quality reading resources. I really liked reading about the different types of pollution that effects the coral reef. I also learned about bleaching and what take place for that to happen. I learned so much more about coral reefs. I really enjoyed the mini quizzes that were placed throughout the book. It helped me review for the final assignment. The quizzes also made me go back and think about what I had just read, this is the way I learn the best. I really liked the interactive functions because it was like a way to quiz yourself on prior knowledge. I love that in the back of the book it has standards and benchmarks for each grade level. I really enjoyed this ebook! I have always been fascinated and intereseted in ocean life. This ebook teaches about the life of coral reefs, the aninmals that inhabit them, and the type of stresses that affect coral reef ecosystems. I loved that it provided cool interactive apps/activities to test your learning and also help you learn as well. The ebook quizzes also help test your knowledge and skills, and tells you why certain questions are right or wrong. The pictures and the interactive activities definitely allowed me to stay engaged with reading this ebook.

I was surprised about how much I enjoyed this interactive E-book! I learned a lot, but I also did not feel clueless. I had no idea how much science went into coral reefs! I loved the short activities that this provided. The way that this was broken up was manageable, and I appreciated the mini quizzes, because they gave me a good idea on my progress and what the final assessment would be like. If I were to improve the e-book, I would add a progress percentage bar, because I enjoy working towards a goal and seeing my progress. I would definitely recommend this to a classmate!

My favorite part of this e-book was the amazing pictures. These pictures were very interesting. They included bright close views of the coral reefs. Looking at these pictures while reading about coral reefs, has driven me to research more information about coral reefs and their ecosystems on my own. I am very interested in going to explore coral reefs now. I really liked how this e-book included interactive questions and quizzes throughout. I enjoyed reading and looking through this scipak/ebook it was very informative I learned so much about the coral reef and how they work. I have always been intrigued by them and wanted to visit where they are located. But I didn't know near as much information about them as I do now after going through this and reading about the different aspects that goes with the reefs and where they are located. The only thing that I experienced that didn't work for me was the interactive parts of the scipak/ebook , other than that everything worked and went smoothly with it. I would definitely recommend this to other people especially if they enjoy learning about the ocean and what lives in it.

I purchased this e-book because I didn't know a lot about coral reef ecosystems and wanted to understand them so that I could be more prepared to teach my students. From the moment I opened the e-book I was captivated by the stunning images, videos, interactive examples, and opportunities to check my learning. Each page contained just enough information for me to process without being overwhelming. The e-book was easy to navigate, which allowed me to easily jump from one topic to another based on my interest level. I love that I was able to listen to the text, as well as highlight important ideas, add notes, and bookmark pages. All of these annotations were saved so that I can access them in the future. This e-book has helped me learn a great deal about coral reef ecosystems and I am excited to share what I have learned with my students. This purchase was money well spent and I can't wait to read my next e-book, Atomic Structure.

This interactive e-book is put together very well. The interactive aspects really keep you engaged during your reading. The drag-and-drop labeling mechanics can take some getting used to though, especially the first time you see it in use during a review question on page 8 (if the picture was blown up more it would make it easier to see what you are trying to label as you are doing so). Overall, the review questions are really helpful and relate to the assessment very well. I really feel that I have a much better understanding of Coral Reef ecosystems after reading this e-book, and I enjoyed the it a lot.

This e book was so interactive and interesting! One of my favorite activities was acting like you were a reef manager and having to make decisions. One of my greatest take aways was all of the information about coral (bleaching). I was made aware of where I needed to go back and study because of the check points throughout the reading. It also made real world connections with all of the activities. I will never forget the information about how humans (pollution) have such a great effect on coral reef ecosystems. Sometimes, an activity would have you pull answers to a diagram and it would pull the answer back down to the bottom.

One thing that I really enjoy about not only this E-book but every E-book is the option to listen to the material. It makes it so easy to take notes or work on other assignments while still listening to the information. The pictures that were included were beautiful and the diagrams immensely helpful. I liked how at the end of each object there was a summary page. The summary page allowed me review all the information from the object in a simplified form. These summaries were also very helpful for quiz preparation. Speaking of the quizzes, they were great! Even if you get an answer wrong you have an unlimited amount of attempts to get the correct answer. The object quizzes also explain the correct answer or why a chosen answer is incorrect. I've always been interested in coral reefs and I learned a lot from this E-book!

Somehow I made it to adulthood without knowing how ALIVE coral reefs are. Needless to say, this e-book was packed with information. The subtopics concerning coral diversity, species diversity, and human-caused reef stress were my favorite. I consider myself an environmentally conscious person, but living in a landlocked state, I've never really thought about human impact on reef ecosystems. There was definitely a lot to learn in those sections. Overall, I enjoyed the interactive portions of this e-book. It was very handy to be able to click on a key word and get the definition, and the interactive "iPad" games were neat. My feedback would be: Below the e-book where it lists the table of contents, I think there should be page numbers so that you have an idea of how long each section is. I also think it would be helpful to know how many subsections are in the section. That way a reader can plan for how long they can sit down and read. I ran into trouble activating the final assessment. I went through and redid all the mini review quizzes and then the final assessment appeared. I don't know if that was a glitch or if I overlooked a quiz the first time. So perhaps there could be some sort of checklist for which mini review quizzes were completed so that a person can see if they accidentally missed one. This was an interesting e-book, and I do recommend choosing this one to read.

I really enjoyed this ebook, it was very informational and engaging. It is easy to navigate and follow along. I especially liked the interactive videos and activities. I did take advantage of the audio and listened to most of the slides. This was especially helpful for me because I am not a big reader and like to learn through listening or visuals. Each page caught my attention with the beautiful pictures of coral reefs. One thing I would change about the ebook is with the audio the narrator likes to read all the little captions. During this, I would just pause the audio but for me I would have liked if it only read me the information I needed to learn. Overall, I really enjoyed this ebook and believed that I learned a lot from it. I now have a new appreciation for the ocean and keeping it clean. I would definitely recommend this ebook to other people.

Great e-book! The book is not only beautiful, but is filled with information concerning the ecology of the coral reefs. I especially like the interactive functions, such as "review what you learn", "common preconceptions" and the embedded videos. In the back of the book is a strand for different grades levels that is helpful in planning for use in the classroom. Excellent resource!
