This is a very interesting article about students having a cook-off contest in their chemistry classroom in order to learn about physical and chemical changes. There is a rigorous rubric included that has the students converting measurements, listing physical and chemical changes and many other things. Students learn by doing and cooking for chemistry class is a great way to accomplish this.
