This article is a follow-up two years later of an article about flipped classrooms. In the two years the use of this idea has exploded. The results of a teacher showed that when he videoed his lectures, students were able to view them and review them to make sure they understood the concepts. More importantly, the students went from saying they didn’t have enough classroom time to most of them indicating that their classroom time was now sufficient. This is the most important reason for flipping a classroom and well worth the effort.

This quote from this article pretty well sums up the entire article. "Showing video lectures alone is not flipping your classroom. You must add active learning experiences." The article also describes how one teacher flipped his classroom and what problems and results he had. Just remember that you need to have some active learning experiences no matter which way you teach!!
