In this web seminar Dr. Jon Arenberg, Chief Engineer, James Webb Space Telescope, Northrop Grumman, will provide unparalleled insights into working on NASA’s Chandra X-ray Observatory and the James Webb Space Telescope.
Dr. Arenberg’s presentation will educate the audience about space-based observatories, the engineering challenges associated with their development, and the future of space exploration. The presenter will highlight some of the major discoveries from both telescopes and talk about NASA’s Next Great Observatory program. Beyond engineering stories, this program will emphasize the importance of human innovation, collaboration, and the relentless pursuit of humankind to explore the unknown.
All individuals receive a certificate of participation and 100 NSTA activity points for attending the live seminar and completing the end-of-program survey. A certificate of participation is not awarded for watching the recorded version of the program.
