About the Suggested Sequence

This is where I am putting my descriptions! The journal article "Immerse Elementary Students in Light Explorations" is what I am going to be using for my article resource. This journal article describes an activity in which teachers use the camera obscura to help students understand light. Understanding light is a concept covered in 4th grade standards, and the overall concept is more easily explained through the article and activity. The journal article "A Light Challenge" is the article I am going to be using as my activity resource. This article describes an activity that is used to help students understand the concept of light energy. This article is also useful for teachers because it explains how to do each section of the activity. The lesson plan "How Can Light Make Dark Shadows and Bright Reflections?" is my additional resource. Fourth grade standards cover how light causes reflections and shadows. This lesson plan is used in instruction of how light can cause reflections and shadows. The webinar titled " Archive: Enhance Your Content and Pedagogical Knowledge Using NSTA Resources: Physical Science, November 18, 2014" is the resource that I am using for this assignment. This webinar is directed towards professional development for educators. The topics covered in this webinar are physical science related. This webinar helps with instructional and content knowledge for physical science subjects.
