Middle Level Science Expo
This event brings together middle level educators to share fun activities,
lessons, and ideas with colleagues. During this 45-minute session, each
presenter will be allowed up to seven minutes in a modified PechaKucha’s style
format originated in Japan and allows for very focused and streamlined
presentations. These prerecorded presentations should include a series of slides
for a total presentation time of no more than five minutes per presenter. Then,
these separate five-minute slide presentations are linked together in rapid
succession. Presenters will take questions during the last 10 minutes of the
45-minute time allocation.
This event is organized by Mary Lou Lipscomb, Retired Educator, and National
Middle Level Science Teachers Association.
