The NGSS help practice nature of science in the real world and experience them. Students could also reflect upon the nature of science in the real world. NGSS has six core principles which are children investigate, children recognize and build upon ideas over time, science and engineering is practiced, students interests and experiences are taken into account, teachers focus on core ides and practices, and promotes equity for all students to learn. Each NGSS has three dimensions (connecting boxes), science and engineering, cross cutting concepts, and disciplinary core ideas. In each disciplinary core idea, there are four domains. They are physical, life, earth and space, and engineering, technology, and application sciences. The application usually has deeper understanding for student center, questions,and trials and errors.
