Which science topics would be best to teach outdoors? I would like my students to be engaged and analyze data they find in an outdoor setting. TYA
Hi Frida! One way that I think you could incorporate outside learning with your curriculum could be species identification. This can change with where you are located and can change year by year. However, the idea is that you would have your class get into groups to then measure out a certain area in the grass/outside. They then would try to identify any insects, plants, etc. that are in that designated area. This could be a 2ft-by-2ft area or a 5ft-by-5ft area, it is all up to you! This can pair great with a lesson about biodiversity, or insects. I hope this helps!
