Building literacy in playful, meaningful ways. The poem in this month's article shows useveryday uses of energy, force, and motion.
I was very impressed with this article. It not only is explained what force, motion, and energy are, but it gives an activity to actually show the students. This activity with the wagon represents energy by showing the students the wagon rolls away on its own. What I would also like to incorporate with this activity is explaining to the students that force, motion, and energy occurs all the time in our everyday life. Not only does this science lesson include science but includes poetry too. This is going to be very beneficial to the elementary ages because it keeps them entertained with the reading along with the activity.
