Innovate to Mitigate National Competition:? Nov 2022 - April 2023 
 
Engage students in problem-based learning that has meaningful real-world impact 
Invite your students to submit innovative mitigation strategies ? 
Foster collaboration on energy conservation, technical innovations, carbon sequestration, communication strategies, social/civics impacts, or a local challenge 
Give students the chance to earn public recognition and prizes! 

 POSSIBLE SCHOOL CONTEXTS 

• As part or whole of a course elective ?
• As a final graduation project or independent study project?
• As a free-choice option in school or in science club after school
• As a required, graded project within a course.
