I am a second-year 3rd grade teacher at a school that is departmentalized with one teacher teaching Math and Science and a partner teacher teaching ELA and Social Studies. With such an emphasis placed on Math these days, there seems to be little time left for Science. How do you find the time to make Science meaningful under such time constraints? Are there any strategies you've tried that have helped this issue?
