Hello! I am a college senior in my last semester before internship. In a few different courses, my professors have stressed the importance of STEAM lesson plans. In my time as a substitute, I have noticed many schools are pushing for teachers to incorporate them as well. I am wondering if there are any experienced teachers on here that might share a few of their favorite STEAM lessons that they have done with their students?
A fun one to do is the marshmallow challenge. It's a structural one. Look it up. Very simple. Requires spaghetti, but use thicker spaghetti with younger ones, marshmallows, and masking tape. [email protected] anna fazio enrichment specialist yorktown schools, ny
