As we all know, centers are common in the lower levels. However, occasionally instead of finishing their assignments, students begin talking to their friends about unrelated topics to the class. What tools or techniques can I use to make sure that the kids in the centers are actively interacting with the material?
As I read your discussion I clearly see where you are coming from, I would also like to know about some tools/strategies to help the students stay focused in a way were it can beneift them but also be in their best interest.
