I really found this article very useful. It gave an example of how to incorporate reading into the process to get the students engaged. I also liked how the the article gives what they did initially in all the steps of the engineering design process for the student. They gave visuals of how they had the students express what they were doing and draw the results instead of writing them. They also used a modified design process for the kindergarteners that was 'Ask, Imagine, Try, Try again' this simplified the process while still getting the concept of what the process should be like. It's a great starting point to be able to build on as the students move through the grades.
