Hello, I am a Dominican University senior in search of input for a STEM lesson. I would like to hear from others on what I should avoid when creating a STEM lesson. Please tell me what has not worked for you, why it has not worked out, and what you would have done differently for things to have turned out differently. Thank you in advance.

Hi! So I have actually not had much experience teaching STEM explicitly. However, one of the things that I remember being told is not to be afraid to let the children get messy and experiment. Much of good stem instruction gives students the materials and structure necessary to explore and discover using their inquiry skills. I'm attaching this article because I thin that it may help for future STEM instruction. https://www.robotlab.com/blog/10-mistakes-to-avoid-in-your-stem-classroom

Best of luck, you have got this!
