Instructional Model in OST Learning

Hello all,

I am currently developing an instructional model tailored for educators working in out-of-school environments. This model will encompass techniques to support learners with physical and sensory disabilities, emergent multilingual learners, and indigenous learners. These resources may come in the form of concise handouts and videos.

However, I'm encountering difficulty with the term 'instructional model,' as it appears to be more geared towards in-school learning rather than out-of-school time. I would greatly appreciate the community's input on a more fitting term to use.

Thank you,

Rasha Elsayed, WestEd

I'm not sure that the term is the issue, but rather that there is still a lot less research and focus on out-of-school-time STEM. The work you're doing could be really helpful for creating models for informal spaces. I wonder if these resources may provide some ideas for your project.
