I am looking for chemistry video ideas to share with my seventh graders. We are learning about how to dispose of hazardous wastes produced during the production of computer circuit boards. We just learned how to perform a serial dilution to determine the concentration of copper chloride etching solution, so we can determine how much water would be needed to dilute it to meet acceptable standards. Thanks.
Try these websites.... http://cen.acs.org/media/video.html https://www.khanacademy.org/science/chemistry I found these by Googling ""Chemistry videos".
You can also ask if your school subscribes to Discover Education, http://www.discoveryeducation.com/ They have a ton of videos, and they are all safe for showing in the classroom.
Hi Lisa, Siemens STEM ACADEMY also has a lot of videos and many other chemistry resources. You can create a free account and browse. Carolyn
Lisa Are you looking for general videos or one specific to the recovery of metals from electronics Here are a few links to general videos. I will also work on the other but it will take a bit more time http://www.learner.org/resources/series61.html http://www.nbclearn.com/portal/site/learn/chemistry-now http://www.gpb.org/chemistry-physics/students/all http://www.rsc.org/learn-chemistry/collections/faces-of-chemistry http://www.sciencekids.co.nz/videos/chemistry.html http://www.periodicvideos.com/
