I am a future teacher and am wondering if anyone has any resources for supporting Emergent Bilinguals? I am not used to assisting them with their learning and find myself wondering what supporting them in the classroom would look like.

Hi! I'm not sure if by resources you meant articles and textbooks but I've found that some things that are essential in supporting our EB students are allowing them to use their home language, valuing them as they are and their background and culture, using translanguaging in the classroom, and really any instructional strategies that you feel the students will benefit from such as visual aids, TPR, small groups, hands-on activities, thematic units, cloze reading, graphic organizers, sentence strings/starters, and what I feel is most important, guided instruction.
