I am going to be teaching a lesson in a couple of weeks in 4th grade. I will be teaching a scinece lesson on weather particuliarly focused on clouds. Does anyone have any suggestions on some hands on activities for this lesson? The science segment is only 30 minutes long and there are 22 students in the class.

Hi Patricia,

There are a lot of great activities to do with clouds on Pinterest. The one I liked the most was a rain cloud activity which can be found at https://littlebinsforlittlehands.com/rain-cloud-spring-science-weather-activity/. I also found some activities on teach Junkie: www.teachjunkie.com/sciences/clouds-science-for-kids/. I have seen the cotton ball cloud craft done in a class and the students seemed to enjoy it. I also think that the cloud in a jar would be a fun hands-on activity. These activities can be used for multiple age groups, but I think your fourth graders would enjoy them.
