I can understand how topics that include fun interactive experiments are easy for children to become engaged to, but with other science topics such as mass or atomic structures, would we need to also include experiments? Do all science topics need an intereactice experiement for students to become engaged?

Hello Christine,

Science concepts can be abstract that experiments or hands on activies are needed. Air is an abstract topic for young children to understand since they are not able to see it. I found a super simple and fun experiment on Teachers Pay Teachers to use for the lesson of Air. There is some of weather as well. I do not think an actual experiment is needed for every topic but a hands on activiy is crucial for a students engagement.
