Hi

I'm a new teacher (I teach middle school science: 6th, 7th, 8th grade) and former engineer. I'd like to approach teaching chemistry from a practical view point (here are some of the cool things you can do with chemistry!). 

Does anyone have resource suggestions to look into a practical approach to teaching chem? Higher level chem than middle school is okay. I'll be teaching HS next year.

Youtube has a wealth of videos. check for on-screen experiments and interactive simuations videos.
