Force and Motion Rocket Help

After state testing, my cooperating teacher and I have decided to loop back to force and motion and allow our students to make rockets. We are unsure at this point of what parameters we should give the students for building their rockets and what kind of power they can use. Our school has small motors that they are welcome to use, but at this point that is all we have. If anyone has built rockets with their class, would you mind sharing your ideas, what worked, what didn't, and what you graded the students on? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Hi Rachael! I found a few articles in the Learning Center about building rockets with students. Each article uses different materials and has different requirements, so I thought these may help to get some ideas started at least! Let me know what you think! Thank you so much for the links Megan! I will undoubtedly look into these as I get into this unit in the Spring!
