Help with Hands On

Hi! I just finished my science methods course this past semester in a first grade classroom. All six of my lessons involved hands on experiments with earthworms, that the students really enjoyed. I would love to do some of these lessons again in my future classroom. However, how could I manage 20-25 first graders as they engage in a hands on activity with living creatures if there is just one of me? During my practicum, I had the assistance of a fellow peer as well as my host teacher and they helped make my lesson as successful as possible. What are some tips for conducting hands on experiments with only one teacher in the room?
