My name is Ethan Beck and I am a 4th year elementary education major. I think fun ways to keep students engaged is any sort of interactive game that students can play and learn science concepts. PBS kids games is a great source of science games that can get students invested and exposed to the content. If you are talking about older students you can have them watch a science fiction movie like interstellar and use a movie sheet from moviesheets.com. Then have a discussion about the movie and some parts that interested the students or questions that they had about the science. Hope this helps give you some ideas for lessons.
