Hello everyone, in elementary the main subjects that take most of the school time are reading and math. As elementary teachers how can we make time for students to have the opportunity to have a science lesson with lab included?
Hello Melissa!
From what I have learned throughout my educational background, one of the best ways to practice science in the Elementary classroom is by incorporating it in cross-curricular subjects. This can be done through STEAM lessons, incorporating math with science, reading into science, etc. This helps students see real-world applications and helps inspire their creativity to help them see the connections of subjects we are learning in school!
