Good morning Arlene Thanks. I teach the 8th grade Middle School students for a High School credit (Physical Science and Earth Space Science). I just returned from the NSTA conference in LA. I attended an Inquiry Driven Inquiry session, and met some of the authors. They explained how to go about using this approach. They also agreed it will be time consuming, however, in the end the students will get a better grasp of the scientific concepts. Next year I will be doing Project Lead the Way. I will not be under a time constrain as I am now. I can easily adapt this ADI approach with my students. Thanks.
