As part of my award money, we hatched 80 Plus butterflies. We had a few with deformed wings, and this alien looking one that still intrigues me. Does anyone know why it looks this way? It had its wings on the bottom instead of the top so of course she never flew , but she lived for about a week and a half because we fed her and made sure she had lots of TLC daily. The kids learned all about dissabilities and it was a great learning experience because one of their classmates only has one leg. They really related to this sweet butterfly.
