I recently took the Solar System SciPack and found it to be very difficult. I had designed a Lesson Plan on the Solar System for my 2nd Grade class and while creating it found out the Solar System is no longer a 2nd grade benchmark in Miami. Why, I do not know, so now I am using the subject as a project-based learning. When does the Solar System usually get introduced in elementary school?

Hi Windy- Solar System is at the 5th grade level in the Next Generation Science Standards. Has your state adopted these? If not, do you know how to access your state standards?
