Hi, my name is Desiree. I'm expected to graduate in May of 2025, and as I am working on my field experience, I've noticed I have to overcome my intovertness and find my 'teacher voice'. As I move closer and closer to the finish line, I'm becoming overwhelmed but excited because I am finally going to be in the field and learning hands on experience. Is there any advice on gaining 'teacher voice' and keeping students engaged?
Hi Desiree, I too am expected to graduate in May of 2025. I also struggle to maintain students engaged and am a shy person. What somewhat works for me is to offer the students small incentives such as candies, but after a while it isn't as effective. I'll stay tuned to see if anyone else adds more advice, till then, I wish you luck in your studies and career!
