Hello everyone, my name is Amanda Garza and I am from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley in Texas. My question is, how do I control a classroom? Because, once, when I was doing my hours, a teacher put me in charge of just taking care of the classroom and that's it. However, everything got crazy once she stepped out, I was not able to control the students and everyone just stood up, ran around, and started talking loudly amongs each other very loudly to the point that I could not hear myself anymore. No matter how much I tried to ask them to go back to their seats they didn't want to do anything that I asked them to. The teacher when she came back told me that it was because I spoke to them too nicely however, I am not sure how to fix it, so if anyone has any suggestions for me, please let me know. Thank you!
