I need ideas for interesting ways to present the plant cells and animals cells to a 4th-5th grade classroom. The activity needs to be hands on, collaborative, but not involve food. I know for most units that cover this topic students build cells out of candy or a cake, but I want to present this information in a format that promotes hands-on discovery that can take place within the classroom and not in the kitchen.
