Hello, my name is Sarah Walker and I am a pre-service teacher at Wartburg College. I am looking for some advise on cross-curricular units to use in my future classroom. I am a future general elementary education teacher and I want to ensure that I make time for science in my future class room. Through my field experiences I have noticed that many schools no longer have the time for science and social studies in their everyday schedules. I am looking for topics that have been successfully implemented cross-curricularly. The topic that I am looking into currently is a recycling unit that uses science and reading.
