I am currently student teaching and I like to incorporate fun activities for my kids to work in groups or with a partner. Sometimes I let them choose their own partner, but other times I like them to work with peers that they may not be as familiar with. Does anyone have any good techniques for easily pairing up their students? I have asked a few other teachers and most of them use the 'counting off' method. I was hoping to find another technique that is more interesting for the students. Thanks!
