I am a preservice teacher and I am interested in knowing what different materials, books, supplies, etc., I should start collecting now to be better prepared to teach science. What would you recommend? Where is a good place to find such materials? Thank you in advance.

Hello Cassidy! I think it is a good idea to look in second hand stores and thrift shops for books. Sometimes you can find great material there. If you are currently a college student I would ask your professors if they have any books that they no longer need. A lot of the education professors are retired teachers and have materials from when they were teachers. I would start collecting a lot of markers, and arts and crafts materials. Pinterest is also an amazing resource to use if you are looking for ideas for lessons. Hope this helps a little! -Stefanie
