What are some good science apps do you use or advise your students to use? specifically middle school students
What devices will the students be using? I love the Phet apps, and there are a growing number of their simulations that are written in HTML5 and should work on any device (the older ones are Java or Flash and need a computer).
If your students use Google Chrome I would suggest an app called Videonot.es. Students can watch a video and take notes on a split screen.
