I am in need of two lab based exam questions for a high school forensic chemistry final exam. I do not teach the course but must write two questions that centers around a crime scene investigation and analysis involving identifying a white powder using acid- base reaction and other common household chemicals. The questions must contain a crime scene story.

I did a quick Google search for 'ph white powders' which provided me with a lab. With this lab paired with the Forensics in Chemistry NSTA Press Book (found through searching 'chemistry' in the Explore All Resources tab), I'm sure you can develop great crime scene based questions for your test.
