What are some good ideas for field trips for sixth graders that can teach them about pollution? 

One good idea would be to take your students to a science museum with exhibits on environmental science and pollution. At these museums, you can look for interactive displays that demonstrate the causes and effects of pollution, as well as solutions to address environmental challenges.

You can try taking your students to local colleges to get a feel of what their future holds. It might also be a good idea to take them to the zoo.
