Hello, I am a preservice Elementary Education student at Wartburg College,
In one of my other methods courses, we read 'Make Just One Change: Teach Students to Ask Their Own Questions' by Dan Rothstein and Luz Santana. This book talks about the QFT or the Question Formulation Technique. In the technique, they use a prompt and then have students come up with their own questions based on the prompt. The prompt, being teacher chosen, is picked to meet the objective you want. I was wondering if anyone who is familiar with QFT had ways that this could be translated into the Science Classroom.
